The Ruthless Story
JJ FAD was the first act on Ruthless records to be certified GOLD. We were also the first female artists on the label, thereby dubbing themselves as the Ruthless Princesses. They paved the way for Ruthless records to become a major player In the music industry by legitimizing the label.
Accolades
In 1989, JJ Fad, Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, Salt-N-Pepa, Kool Moe Dee, and LL Cool J made history as the first artists to be nominated for the Best Rap Performance Grammy! Our debut Album "Supersonic" was certified Gold and went on to sale Platinum!
